Infrastructure Accreditations Vigil Mechanism

Our education program emphasizes providing equal opportunity to the weaker section of the society. Through our various educational initiatives, we try to empower the underprivileged children to lead a better life and help them to break the poverty cycle.

Under our Educational Initiatives we run two major programs, which are :

a) Swami Vivekananda Arunoday Vidyalay (SVAV), a co-educational primary school up to class VIII in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.

Established in 2013, this co-educational school is up to 8th grade. Out of the 202 students it supports, 45 are passed out students supported through HKMT for their higher studies till 12th. Special coaching classes are also organized for these students after their school hours. Out of the 202 students 140 are girls and 62 are boys. Due to the poor economic condition of families, the nutritional level among children is also poor. Hence, apart from free education, we also provide them books & stationery, school uniforms, and three times meal free of any charges.

Mid-day Meal Program for other low-income schools: Post-covid, to attract the students back to their respective schools and to help them in maintaining their nutritional level, we restarted our Mid-day meal program with the two schools. Currently, a total of around 100 students are availing the benefit of one-time freshly cooked and nutritious lunch, in Hapur, UP. We are also supporting 70 inmates of Savera School for Mentally Challenged, in Rohad, Haryana, through our mid-day meal program.

b) Yogakshema – A Scholarship Program for academically bright children from the economically weaker sections, operational in Kolkata, West Bengal.

In West Bengal since 2018, Merino through HKMT is running Yogakshema Scholarship Program for the economically weaker but meritorious students. Rs. 4000 per month is offered as Scholarship for two years to help the students complete their education till XII. It covers the expenses for studies, some nutritional needs, and a Mediclaim policy for the family.
